Micka, a female domestic cat, was the feline star of Czech President Petr Pavel's 2023 election campaign. Known for her frequent media appearances, Micka became an icon alongside Pavel's flannel shirt. The Czech public loved her, and there were plans to move her to Prague Castle, making her the castle's first official pet in ages.
Found in a snowdrift in December 2012 with the help of the family dog, Bob, Micka had a bit of tail trouble but traveled often with Pavel and his wife, Eva. Despite her globetrotting, she wasn't a fan of travel. Micka passed away on April 16, 2024.
